Gumlu State School

On behalf of the students and staff we would like to welcome you to the Gumlu State School community.

Established in 1913, we are a small school located halfway between Bowen and Ayr.  We currently have 10 children, a teaching principal and a full time teacher aide.  Our school is committed to advancing and maintaining quality educational outcomes for all students in a supportive and caring environment through the pedagogical framework of explicit instruction and high expectations.

At Gumlu, we believe that the Future is in Our Hands, and we aim to maximise the learning of every student by unlocking their potential, unchaining their imaginations and forging keys for their futures.
